THEATRICAL LETTERS (foreword by Sir John Gielgud) published 1995/6 in hardback and paperback by Marginalia Press (Ippon Books) in UK, USA and Canada. This is a 400 year history of the English-speaking theatre told through the correspondence of leading actors, their friends and colleagues. The book contains much previously unpublished material (ISBN 1874572 119)
